An interview with Hagen Späth for the BZ company portrait offers a look behind the scenes at querdenker engineering GmbH.

It takes more time. It asks more of everyone. But it is also something special: at querdenker engineering, everything of consequence is decided together and democratically: whether to accept or turn down a project, who is hired, and who is let go. “It was like that from the start, and by now it is written into the company rules,” says managing director Florian Seibold.

We know we are a little different from the others, and when it comes to working well together and to helping each individual along, you sometimes have to take a new path. We are proud to be part of a democratic company, to be supported and challenged day after day, and to have the chance every day to get a little better and to help others do the same.

It is not always easy, but working with that kind of agency is worth it. On that we agree.
