How we work

  • One team, one site, deep expertise

    System design, circuitry, firmware, update mechanisms and the IoT cloud are built by the same core team. We work at one site in Offenburg and have lunch at the same table. That is where interface questions get settled before they turn into meetings.

  • Independence

    What we develop for your product belongs to you: schematics, layout, source code, manufacturing documents and documentation. Our platform modules remain our product. You receive a permanent right of use for them in your device and its variants. The source code, manufacturing data and build environment of the modules are held in escrow with an independent party. Who that is and when you gain access is set out in the supply contract. We update the escrow with every major release, at least once a year.

Our project teams usually consist of two to five people. We set the project start and duration as part of your enquiry. Typically you receive a feasibility assessment and a transparent budget estimate after ten working days. At the end of each phase you receive the full set of documents. The phase chart shows what our work delivers.
