qdTest is a test fixture with the measurement and programming electronics built in. We print the nest for your board, and you define the test sequence in the online configurator. A complete system starts at about €3,800 net and ships six weeks after you approve the configuration.

From layout to test station in six weeks

  1. Send design data and/or specification

    Send us what you have: design data, test specification and/or the test objective.

  2. Quote and approval

    We check the data and make you a proposal for the implementation. On request we create the test plan, you approve it.

  3. System on your shop floor

    Six weeks after you approve the configuration the system is with you: printed nest, needle bed, electronics and test software.

Test software built for production: simple and functional

  • Steps

    Switch relays, measure voltage, measure current, set the power supply, flash via programmer, wait, run an external command. Plus manual test steps and operator input.

  • Limits

    Every measuring step can have limits. If a value falls outside them, the sequence stops and can be repeated as needed.

  • Log

    Every test run produces a log per serial number: software, time, environment and operator in the header, then limits, measured value and result for each test step.

  • Data

    Logs go to the USB stick or to your ERP system via REST API. If your EMS provider runs the test, the data still remains accessible to you.

Transparency from the start

What happens when the layout changes?

If the test points stay where they are, you only change the test sequence. If test points move, we reprint the nest and the needle carrier. Housing and electronics stay, so the rework costs noticeably less than a new system.

Are the prices binding?

Prices on this page and in the calculator are guide prices, net. The binding figure is the quote we write after checking your configuration.

Is there a discount if we order two systems?

Yes. A second system with the same configuration, for example for sampling in your own incoming inspection or as a spare fixture at your EMS provider, costs less because the design and test sequence already exist. We state the price in the quote.

What is qdTest not made for?

Boards larger than 250 × 170 mm, fully automated high-throughput lines, and high-voltage or RF testing. We build test stations like that as a project.
