qdSBC: coming soon
AI and display on one board: the single-board computer for devices that analyse their own data with AI and are operated on site. The AI accelerator and the graphics unit for the display are built into the processor. Details will follow as soon as the board is available.
Applications
What qdSBC is designed for
qdSBC is based on the STM32MP25 from ST. The figures below are key specifications of this processor. We will show which interfaces the board provides as soon as it is available.
AI right on the device
The processor's NPU delivers up to 1.35 TOPS. You can analyse camera images and sensor data locally with it, for object detection or predictive maintenance, for example, and the raw data stays in the machine.
Operation without a panel PC
The graphics unit handles 3D and drives a display directly, up to Full HD, for example on a machine's control panel, a terminal or a medical device. User interface and device logic run on one board instead of a panel PC and a controller.
Linux and real time on one chip
Two Cortex-A35 cores at up to 1.5 GHz run Linux, and a Cortex-M33 alongside them handles the tasks where timing is critical. Secure boot and TrustZone sit in the processor, as with qdGate.
