A full house, in-depth technical talks and a relaxed atmosphere

On Thursday, 5 March 2026, we welcomed around 40 clients, prospective clients and business partners to our first qdTec-Day at our new home in Offenburg. With the speakers and our own team, the conference rooms at “flow 1986” were completely full.

We were overwhelmed by the level of interest, and especially by the fact that some participants had travelled a very long way to attend.

The programme included technical talks on:

• functional safety
• board testing with the qdTest programming and test fixture

Another highlight was the architectural tour of the flow building. Architect Peter Waibel explained the design and construction of the five-storey building, built entirely from timber, and personally showed the participants around.

We had deliberately kept the schedule open, so that alongside the talks there was plenty of time for discussion with the speakers and for an in-depth exchange of experience among the participants.

The lovely early spring weather let us enjoy the lunch break on the roof terrace. Anyone who wanted to test their skill could take on our “pros” in the table football challenge.

To round off the seminar day, many guests stayed on for an after-work beer in a relaxed atmosphere.

We look back on a thoroughly successful event and are already looking forward to next year's qdTec-Day.
