A full house, deep technical content and a relaxed atmosphere

Last Thursday, 5 March, we welcomed around 40 clients, prospective clients and business partners to our first qdTec-Day at our new home in Offenburg. Together with the speakers and our own team, the conference rooms in the flow 1986 were completely full.

We were taken aback by the level of interest, and particularly by the fact that some participants had travelled a very long way to be there.

The programme held talks on:

• functional safety
• board testing with the qdTest programming and test adapter

A further highlight was the architectural tour of the flow building. The architect Peter Waibel explained the design and construction of the five-storey building, built entirely from timber, and led the participants through the house himself.

We had deliberately kept the schedule open, so that alongside the talks there was room for discussion with the speakers and for a proper exchange of experience among the participants.

The fine early spring weather let us take the lunch break on the roof terrace. Anyone wanting to test their skill could take on our table football regulars.

At the end of the day many guests took the chance to let the seminar wind down over a beer.

We look back on an event that worked all round, and we are already looking forward to the next qdTec-Day.
