Working remotely at querdenker engineering

An interview with our team member Martin, who has been with querdenker engineering GmbH for a year and works 100 per cent remotely.

Question: What do you do at querdenker engineering GmbH? Martin: My main work is developing embedded systems. That ranges from the concept, which we usually work out together with our clients, through to implementing and delivering the software.

Question: What advantages do you see in remote work? Martin: The biggest advantage is definitely the time I save on the daily commute.

Question: What challenges do you see with remote work? Martin: One clear stumbling block is that I have less personal contact with my colleagues than a normal day at the office allows. Remote work also means that lab equipment and other equipment have to be provided at my remote workplace.

Question: How have you found remote work so far? Martin: I like being able to work remotely, especially on project-based tasks. The variety of projects and their different topics mean there is always something new. Working closely with everyone involved in a project is very rewarding and fulfilling.
