Team development: riding the wave on

Does a team where everything runs smoothly still need training? We think so, precisely then.

Does a team that works well need continuous training? We think it does.

At querdenker engineering, alongside expertise and technical progress, every single member of the team and their personal development are at the centre.

Especially in times when everything runs smoothly, we set store by not easing off. So this summer we again invested a day and a half in a practical team workshop.

This time we looked at the tasks and demands of the individual roles in the team and reflected on where we currently stand as a team. We also considered in which direction we want to develop, individually and together.

We ran the workshop with the team roles tool from profilingvalues. An interesting dynamic came from combining a self-assessment with an assessment by other team members. It trained the ability to give feedback and to take it, and to stay authentic while doing so.

The workshop produced a set of measures ranging from better project management through refinements to requirements engineering to the personal development of each individual.

Wishing you plenty of lateral thinking, your querdenker engineering.
